Here at Pitlane Performance finding the right cars for us to sell is extremely tough, with selling a huge amount of Renaultsport's and being lucky enough to have had some incredible examples (including sub 50k Mile 1 Owner Clio Trophy) it's quite something to say this is truly the best example I have ever seen.

The Clio 182 Trophy needs no introduction if you know your hot hatchbacks, only 500 came to the UK and 50 were made for Switzerland. They all were delivered in identical specifications, Capsicum Red paintwork with Black Leather / Alcantara Recaro Seats and Light Anthracite Grey Trophy specific Speedline Turini Wheels. They have a larger rear spoiler over the 182 Cup, Individual Production Number on the Recaro seat base and the biggest party trick is the Sachs Dampers which cost Renault 10x the standard cup suspension.

This 2005 55 Renaultsport Clio 182 Trophy #207 has clearly been used sparingly over the last 16 years with under 28,800 miles being completed. On first glance it looks incredible, but when you take a closer look you start to realise that this car is outstanding throughout.

Being a self proclaimed Renaultsport nut, I found myself smiling when discovering how immaculate this car really is, laying underneath and just shaking my head in disbelief!

This is a truly special car that has to be seen to be believed,

With 9 Services total and all being independant specialists you can tell it's been in the right hands from day one.

The first cambelt being changed at Mark Fish at 12,452 Miles in September 2010.
The second being changed at Two Techs Renault Specialist at 28,781 Miles in July 2019.

In 2014 the car had covered 27,871 miles and only covered 1010 miles in the last 7 years, yet still the maintenance / invoices in this time has totalled to thousands.

We have a huge history file with purchase invoice dating back to October 2005. Invoices showing damper rebuilds completed at Mark Fish Motorsport in 2010 when the car only had 12,452 Miles, All services, Brake disc & pad changes, Tyre replacement, Gearbox oil changes and a variety of parts invoices for items keeping the car looking as good as new.

In the Trophy folder can be found many Renaultsport Clio Trophy Brochures, Trophy CD, Sachs Damper Stickers (Original stickers removed and now in plastic bag).

With the car we have the genuine Front Sachs Dampers which are Brand New and never fitted. These are built up with Genuine Trophy Eibach Springs and Genuine Renault Top Mounts and Spring Tops. These alone are worth a fortune, as the car has been sat in a collection the latest keeper decided to get Cup dampers fitted for the car to sit on. We do also have brand new Genuine Rear Cup Dampers which have been painted grey to match the original Sachs, these even have the Renault Sachs sticker on them, unfortunately the genuine parts are no longer an item that can be ordered / found (Believe me, i'm always looking out for them!).

Bodywork condition really does have to be seen to be believed, the glossy paintwork is completely unmarked and features no scratches or imperfections, the wheels even feature the original Speedline Holograms on them. The front end is outstanding, it looks like a new car throughout.

Interior condition is also exceptional, the steering wheel is infact brand new, the previous owner managed to source one, this is extremely rare in its own right, especially since the same steering wheel was fitted to the Clio V6. Seats are unmarked, the suede and leather is clean, dashboard is like new, in areas you expect to find wear you simply dont.

Clips and bolts have been replaced over time keeping the Clio looking incredible, behind the wheels and in the arch lining you will find clips and bolts that are brand new and immaculate, this is obviously a treat for the eyes considering a single mile of driving in the wet would ruin this.
